The BPI Mobile app gives you full control of your accounts.

What username and password should I use?
Use your BPI Online Banking username and password to log in to the new BPI Mobile app. Not yet enrolled? Go to the BPI website to sign up.

Can I access the new BPI Mobile app abroad?
You can use the new BPI Mobile app anywhere in the world as long as you are connected to the internet. Please contact your Telco provider for fees that may apply.

How can I activate biometric login?
If you’re already using fingerprint or facial recognition on your phone, simply log in to the BPI Mobile app and enable biometric login from the side menu.

Note that the BPI Mobile app will automatically require you to log in with your username and password again to reactivate biometric login if it detects a new face or fingerprint on your phone.

Is there a fee in using the new BPI Mobile app?
The new BPI Mobile app is free, but using it requires data. If you are not connected to a WiFi, you may incur data charges. Please contact your Telco provider for fees that may apply.

Is using the BPI Mobile app safe?
BPI employs the latest security measures and technology to make sure that your mobile banking experience is both safe and hassle-free.

What is One-Time PIN?
One-Time PIN (OTP) is a security code that is only valid for one transaction. Sent to your registered mobile number, OTP provides an extra layer of security. You will be required to input an OTP to confirm and complete your transactions.

Will the new BPI Mobile app work in all kinds of devices?
To use the new BPI Mobile app, your device must be running on at least Android 5 or iOS 9. Also, because BPI employs the most advanced security measures and technology to protect the accounts of clients, the new app will not work on rooted or jailbroken devices.

Can I install the BPI Mobile app in all my mobile phones? Do I need a different mobile number for One-Time PIN for every phone?
Yes, you can install the BPI Mobile app and register as many phones as you want to your account. For your protection, however, the One-Time PIN will only be sent to your registered mobile number.

Can other people use the BPI Mobile app on my phone to check their accounts?
As part of the protection provided by device registration, only your account can be accessed via your BPI Mobile app.

What devices can I use for fingerprint and facial recognition?
For Android, any device running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and higher with a built-in fingerprint scanner is compatible. For iOS, any Touch ID-enabled device can be used. Face ID is available for iPhones with built-in facial recognition feature, running on iOS 11 and higher.

FUNDS TRANSFER

How can I transfer money to other accounts?
Transfer to Anyone is now included in the Transfer to 3rd Party button in the new BPI Mobile app. It is the most convenient way of transferring money to any BPI, BPI Family Savings Bank and BPI Direct account, whenever, wherever. If you’re regularly transferring money to someone, it is recommended that you enroll the recipient’s account.

Is there a limit to the amount that I can transfer?
There is no limit in the amount that you can transfer to enrolled accounts.

For unenrolled accounts, each source account can transfer a maximum amount of P50,000 per day. To ensure the protection of your account, One-Time PIN is also required for every transaction.

Do I have to activate the Transfer to 3rd Party feature?
You don’t need to activate Transfer to 3rd Party. However, a One-Time PIN is required for every transaction.
