In the magazine’s 12th Annual Financial Institution Awards 2018, BPI was recognized as the “Best Trade Finance Bank in the Philippines” and “Best FX Bank for Corporates and FIs in the Philippines,” while BPI Capital, its subsidiary, is the “Best Bond House in the Philippines” and BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation (AMTC), another subsidiary, is the “Best Asset and Fund Manager in the Philippines”.
“These awards speak of our strong focus on creating real value for our clients,” said BPI President and CEO Cezar P. Consing. “With the strategic approach and relevant solutions that we provide, we aim to help clients achieve their most important business goals.”
The 12th Annual Financial Institution Awards 2018 follows a rigorous set of criteria that allows the magazine to identify best banks who deliver certain services for clients.
Through its trade finance business, BPI was able to facilitate domestic and international trade transactions for companies and entrepreneurs. BPI Capital has executed and played major roles in the high-profile retail bond transactions that exhibit the bank’s ability to successfully place securities in the domestic market and execute and manage debt transactions with varying degrees of complexity.
BPI AMTC has also become one of the leading asset and fund managers in the country owing partly to state-of-the-art technology to strengthen a multi-strategy approach to investment management, complemented by some of the most advanced portfolio management, risk management, and investment accounting systems in the country.
